At each of the 23 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series national events during the 2010 season, the diligence and extra effort of crewmembers on NHRA teams will be saluted in the NHRA Full Throttle Hardworking Crew award. The award will pay tribute to the crews whose perseverance make an impact in every race, whether it’s to overcome an obstacle, or the odds, to propel their team to a difference-making performance.

After each race, ESPN NHRA analyst Mike Dunn will choose that week’s winners of the NHRA Full Throttle Hardworking Crew Award in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock Car, and, when competing, Pro Stock Motorcycle, with the season-long champions of NHRA Full Throttle Hardworking Crew Award of the Year to be determined by fans vote via NHRA.com. Online voting will begin the Monday after the Las Vegas NHRA Nationals and conclude the Monday after the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals. NHRA Full Throttle Hardworking Crew Award of the Year winners will be honored in each of the four classes at the season-ending awards ceremony.

Throughout the year, NHRA Full Throttle Hardworking Crew winners at each event will be awarded $3,000 each in Top Fuel and Funny car, $1,500 in Pro Stock, and $750 in Pro Stock Motorcycle. The NHRA Full Throttle Hardworking Crew Award winners from the previous series event will be recognized during pre-race ceremonies on Sunday at each Series event and recognized in National DRAGSTER and on NHRA.com.
