Ben Crosland garnered his fourth Top 10 finish of the 2009 Ford Racing Mustang Challenge season by finishing 7th at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course 40-minute event last Saturday. Once again, Crosland showed himself to be a consistent driver and able to keep his cool while running two abreast through the first turns and battling Jason von Kluge for position most of the race.

Crosland qualified in 9th position Friday afternoon after limited track time when the Friday morning session was washed away by rain storms, which left behind high heat and humidity for qualifying.

Unable to run in the first two races of the season due to Florida age requirements, 16-year old Crosland has done a remarkable job of making up for lost time, and is more than holding his own against the older, more experienced competitors.
